Counselling & Psychotherapy in Loughborough
I’m Tim Dalton, a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in Loughborough. I offer a warm, confidential space to talk things through — in person, online or by telephone.
A space to talk, in confidence
Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone. Counselling can help you make sense of difficult feelings, understand long-standing patterns and find a way forward. I work in an integrative way, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred and Attachment-based approaches, and tailor each session to you.

Common questions
Is counselling confidential?
Yes — what you share is confidential, within the professional and ethical limits of the BACP Ethical Framework. I’ll explain how this works when we first meet.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some people come for a few sessions to focus on something specific; others stay longer. We review progress together and you’re never tied in.
How long is a session?
Sessions are usually around 50 minutes, at a regular time that suits you — in person, online or by phone.
